Actually, I was getting ready to leave the house, when the power, which had been out for a couple of hours, suddenly came back on. I was literally about to put my shoes on.
Now back to my regularly scheduled programming. Yay for that.

I feel your pain. Power goes out here reliably, usually at least a few times a year. On those days I usually stay at my brother's, but sometimes his power goes out to.
On those days I just curl up into a ball in the corner and rock myself to sleep until the power comes back on.
